What is Vortex?
A Bonus Buy guarantees entry to a slot’s bonus round at a fixed price. Vortex is the alternative: instead of buying entry outright, players pay a share of that price for the same share of a chance. Stake 40% of the Bonus Buy price and the chance of entering the bonus round is 40%. What you stake is your odds, and that proportion is the whole design of the feature.
How does Vortex work?
- Pick a Bonus Buy, then choose how many Vortex Wheels to spin.
- Stake between 10% and 90% of that Bonus Buy’s price, in 10% steps.
- The percentage staked is the overall chance of entering the bonus round.
- Every Wheel has to land. If one misses, the wager is forfeited and play returns to the base game.
Do more Vortex Wheels improve the odds?
No. Choosing more Wheels splits the same probability into more steps, which stretches the tension without changing the odds. A 40% stake is a 40% overall chance of entry however many Wheels it is settled across. One Wheel resolves it quickly; more Wheels draw it out.
Where does Vortex sit in the game?
Vortex opens from the VIP button beneath the spin control, in the in-game shop introduced with a mobile-first UI rebuild. Spin, quick-spin and auto-spin sit in a single inline cluster beside that button, so the main controls fall under the thumb on mobile, and the layout is the same in every new title.
The shop has three tabs. Buy Bonus purchases entry to the bonus round outright. HotSpin adds twice the base bet on top of a normal spin, three times the bet in total, for a higher chance of triggering Free Spins. Vortex is the percentage-priced gamble described above.
Which Just Slots games have Vortex?
Vortex launched on Ice Vacation, live across the network since June 2026, and ships with every new Just Slots title. Sugar Hell and Book of Maniac 500 both carry it.
